Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information JD Power Packs ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website or send us a rental inquiry, how we use it, and the choices you have. We rent containerized diesel generators to businesses in Florida.
Information you give us
When you fill in our rental inquiry form we collect what you type in it:
- your name, company, phone number and email address;
- the equipment location, generator size, number of reefer containers, desired start date and rental duration;
- anything you add under "Additional requirements";
- whether you ticked either of the text message consent boxes.
Information collected automatically
This website does not set its own cookies. The inquiry form is provided by our customer management platform, HighLevel (LeadConnector), and when it loads it may:
- store a session identifier and a short history of the pages you viewed in your browser's local storage, so we can see where an inquiry came from;
- record your approximate location from your IP address;
- run a Cloudflare security check (Turnstile) that sets a cookie to tell people from automated spam;
- load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which can tell Meta that you visited the page.
Our web host (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, and the page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
How we use it
- to answer your inquiry, prepare a written quote and check availability;
- to arrange delivery, installation and the rental itself;
- to send you text messages, only if you gave consent (see below);
- to keep a record of our business communications and to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
The form has two separate, optional consent boxes. Neither is required to request a quote or to rent equipment.
- Service messages: about your rental inquiry, quotes and delivery scheduling.
- Marketing messages: offers and updates, only if you tick that box separately.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Full terms are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run this website and our customer records, and only so they can do that work for us:
- HighLevel / LeadConnector (inquiry form, customer records and messaging);
- Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection);
- Google (typefaces) and Meta (the Pixel mentioned above).
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and equipment.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as we need them to deal with you and to meet our tax and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we have to keep it by law.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through the form.
Children
This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
